IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR UTILITY SERVICE
The Public Utility Commission recently ended the statewide moratorium on all utility non-pay disconnects that has been in effect since February 21, 2021. The Customer Service Department has fully resumed all normal operations concerning utility disconnects for both electric and water beginning July 5, 2021.
The City of Garland will continue to work with customers prior to a potential non-pay interruption in service(s) and strongly encourage those needing assistance to contact Utility Customer Service at 972-205-2671 or CustServ@GarlandTX.gov to discuss their situation. Please include your service address and account number in any correspondence.
